On May 27,
2009, at approximately 1:22 pm a pocketbook was
inadvertently left on the ground by a bench by the front
entrance of the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post
RD.. At approximately 1:29 pm, two subjects, a male and
female, walk up to the library from the area of the Post
Rd.. The female walked to the pocketbook and picked it up.
Both subject look into the pocketbook and quickly walk
towards the Post Rd.
Anyone
recognizing these subjects are asked to call Det. Bill Young

On April
9, 2009 a laptop computer was stolen from the Fairfield
Public Library at 1080 Old Post Rd.
This
subject in the video was observed taking the laptop from the
library.

Banana Republic Theft 10/31/2008 |
|
On 10/31/2008, at
approximately 1:57 PM, an unknown
white male entered the
Banana Republic Store
located
at 1499 Post Road, Fairfield, CT,
carrying a large, two handled white
"puffy" shopping bag. The subject
removes approximately $2550.00 worth
of assorted women's clothing from
the store displays and leaves the
store. All the clothing had security
devices attached. The subject exited
the store without activating the
alarm.
The subject is
described as a white male, 25 years
old, medium build with short black
hair and clean shaven. He was
wearing a bark blue p-coat opened,
blue jeansw, a dark striped crew
sweater and dark color sneakers. The
larceny took place in under two
minutes.

Book Investigation |
The following videos
show a suspect wanted in connection with inappropriate pictures taken of an
unsuspecting woman while in Border Books, Post Road Fairfield. The suspect uses
his cell phone to take the photos.
The incident
happened at approximately 1030hrs on 8/22/08. It appears as though he arrives in
a white utility van with tinted windows on the side and ladders on top. If you

BANANA
REPUBLIC THEFT |
| On
December 1, 2007, at approximately
5:30pm, two white males, pictured in
the attached video, entered the
Banana Republic, 1499 Post Rd.,
Fairfield on two separate occasions
within a five minute period and
stole approximately $2,000.00 worth
of sweaters that were on display.
Anyone with information is asked to

DUNKIN DONUTS
ROBBERY |

This is a
video clip of the Robbery
occurring at Dunkin Donuts, 593 Post Rd. on
11/5/07 @ 10:28pm. The suspect
passed a note to the Dunkin Donuts employee
demanding money, and that he had a gun and a
bomb. Suspect also implied with body
movements that he had a weapon. No
actual weapon was observed however.
Suspect described as thin male, dark skin
(but not Hispanic), possibly Middle-eastern,
and wearing black hooded sweatshirt/jacket.
Suspect removed and fled with the computer
from the counter. The cash drawer was not
part of the machine stolen.

BURGLARY |
On
8/25/2007 a burglary occurred at the Dunkin Donuts,
3355 Post Rd. in Southport. The suspects
can be seen entering the store in the attached
video. The first suspect’s face is uncovered as he
enters the store. Anyone with info can call Fred

The Fairfield Police are investigating a bank
robbery at Webster Bank, 1177 Post Rd. on June 17,
2006. The suspect was carrying a canister in his
hand. He is a white male, approximately 5’4” -5’6”
with a stocky build. Anyone with information can

SEA GRAPE THEFT OF PURSE |
|
At
approx 1830 hrs. on 7/14/07 the victim was at the
Seagrape Cafe and left the bar to have a cigarette. The
suspect took her wallet from her purse that was left on
the bar. Anyone with information is asked to
call the Fairfield Police Detective Bureau at

FAIRFIELD COUNTY
BANK COUNTERFEIT CHECKS |
|
During
June 2007, counterfeit checks were presented to
Fairfield County Bank. One of the checks was
successfully cashed and two others were denied by the
bank. The female suspects are pictured below. Each of
the checks were made payable to Karen Maddox of
Pennsylvania. Each woman had her own PA driver’s license
bearing Maddox’ name. The videos show the woman during
the transactions at the Fairfield County Bank. The white
female is in the Fairfield branch and the black female
is in the Darien branch. Both checks contained account
and routing numbers from Britt Air, a Fairfield based
company.
