CRIME WATCH: is a partnership between the Community, the Media and Law Enforcement working together helping prevent and solve crimes in communities and schools.
The program provides a forum for the public to view details of crimes and allows you to forward information you have, concerning unsolved felony crimes and fugitives wanted for felony charges. Before calling us see the points listed below, please be prepared to give as much detail about the crime or fugitive including but not limited to the following:
- What type of crime was committed or is the fugitive wanted for.
- When the crime occurred or when the fugitive will be at a specific location.
- Where the crime occurred, where items from the crime can be found, or where the fugitive can be located at a specific time.
- Who is involved: their name, nickname, age, date of birth, address, height, weight, tattoos, clothing, vehicle description, and people they associate or live with.

In the early evening hours on May 1st, 2008, the body of Kyle Schneider age 17, was found by his father in their home on Congress Street. The death was ruled a homicide caused by a gun shot.
In the early morning hours a woman's body was discarded on Old Post Road in Southport, CT. The body was located between the railroad tracks and the building on an open grass area, in close proximitiy to the parking lot. The woman's death was ruled a homicide by strangulation.
