On Sunday, June 8, 2014 at approximately 2:59 PM, the Fairfield Police Department responded to TD Bank, 1643 Post Road, Fairfield, CT for a reported armed bank robbery.
The Investigation determined the subject pictured below, entered the rear door of the bank at 2:59 PM (bank closes at 3:00 PM), confronted the manager who was near the back door, pulled out a pistol and ordered her to the teller area. He placed a black bag on the counter and ordered the teller to load it with $100.00 bills. She then placed an undetermined amount of cash in the bag and the subject fled out the back door. No vehicle was observed.
The suspect (pictured below) was described as a black male, young looking, in his late teens through 20’s, approximately 5’10” with a slender build. He was wearing a dark ski mask, a green hoodie, long dark (likely blue) pajama like pants with the Polo logo all over them and purple or grey sneakers with a white stripe. He was armed with a dark colored semi-automatic pistol.
