Lieutenant Christopher W. Tursi has been a member of the Fairfield Police Department since 1999. After graduating the Bridgeport Police Academy, he was assigned to the Patrol Division. As a patrol officer, he was selected as and trained new members of the Department as a Field Training Officer. In 2006, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant and worked as a patrol supervisor. In 2009, he was assigned to the Support Services Division as the Emergency Communications Center Director. Lieutenant Tursi is currently assigned as the Commander of Professional Standards and reports directly to the Chief of Police.
Lieutenant Tursi is a graduate of Fairfield University earning his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Sociology.
