The Town of Fairfield is announcing an open, competitive examination for the position of Emergency Telecommunicator (Emergency Communications Center).
The Fairfield Emergency Communications Center is responsible for receiving, assessing, prioritizing and dispatching all emergency and routine calls for service from the public, to include, requests for police, fire and medical assistance. Applicants are required to have excellent record management and communication skills, be 21 years of age, a U.S. citizen, have a high school diploma or equivalent and have the ability to successfully complete a background, psychological and medical examination.
Salary range: $38,131 to $53,602.
