A Nor’easter storm is expected to impact Fairfield during the over nights hours and continuing through the day tomorrow. We are expecting up to 2 inches of rain, high winds, and storm surge in the beach area. The storm is expected to cause isolated power outages throughout the town.
Residents are asked to check storm drains in their neighborhoods to ensure they are free from debris.

Specific to Fairfield Beach Area: We are expecting that Fairfield Beach Road will become impassable by 10:00 AM on Saturday and remain flooded through 4:00 PM on Saturday. We anticipate closing Fairfield Beach Road at Reef Road by 10:00 AM.
Residents are urged to move their cars to higher ground this evening. All parking restrictions are lifted for Veterans Park, the Fairfield Railroad Station, and the Mill Plain Road Commuter Lot.
