Robberies in Knapps Hwy / Knapps Park Dr Area

The Fairfield Police Department has received reports of at least two robberies which have occurred in the Knapps Hwy/ Knapps Park Dr area in the past two weeks.  The victims of both incidents have been juveniles walking home from school that were approached by 2 or 3 suspects wanting to take their iPhones.   One of the suspects displayed a facsimile hand gun in an attempt to intimidate the victims into giving up their iPhone.  We are releasing descriptions of the three suspects to entice the public’s assistance in identifying them and to keep the neighborhood on alert for suspicious persons or vehicles.

There will be an increased Police presence in the area.

Suspect 1:

White male, possibly Arabic, about 5”7”, 18 or 19 years old, was wearing a black or dark grey hoodie, a black beanie on his head, black sweats and all black Nikes.  Had an Air Soft hand gun in the front pocket of his sweats that he threatened the victim with.

Suspect 2:

Black Male, 5’4” tall,  hair described as black that was short, puffy, and curly, thin mustache, Black hoodie, black pants, 17-18 years old

Suspect 3:

Black Male, 6’2”, short dreadlocks, blue shorts, black t-shirt, no facial hair, 17-18 years old
