Grace Richardson Open Space Violations, 8-16-19

During the week of 08/12/2019, the Fairfield Police Department received several complaints regarding people engaging in lewd and sexual activity in the Grace Richardson Open Space area at the intersection of Congress Street and Morehouse Highway.

The Fairfield Police Department’s Quality of Life Unit was assigned to investigate.  On Friday, 08/16/2019, Officers and Detectives from both the Special Services Unit and the Quality of Life Unit conducted surveillance in and around the open space area.  Several violations were observed, and the following arrests were made:

  3. Arrested: Ardito, Charles L. (9/4/43)

  4. Arrested: Linartz, John (5/28/1957)
    Charges: Breach of Peace and Public Indecency
    Bond: PTA
  5. Arrested: Butler, Richard (3/11/1937)
    Charges: Breach of Peace
