Robbery, Webster Bank – Post Rd

On Friday, May 20, 2016 at approximately 9:30 AM, the Fairfield Police Department received a report of a Robbery at Webster Bank, 1177 Post Road, Fairfield, CT.

The suspect (pictured below), a black male, passed a note to the teller demanding money.  As he fled with the money and a dye pack, placed within the money, exploded just outside of the bank.

No injuries were reported and no weapon was displayed.

UPDATED (2:00 PM): After receiving money from the teller, the suspect fled in a newer model Marron vehicle. The suspect is believed to have some type of Tattoo on the left side of his neck.

This incident is currently under investigation.  Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to contact the Fairfield Police Department Detective Bureau at (203) 254-4840.
