Additional Information on the Webster Bank Robbery which occurred on May 20, 2016.
Webster Bank, 1077 Post Road in Fairfield was robbed by the below pictured male on May 20, 2016. The male handed the teller a note and after placing the money into his left coat pocket exited the bank traveling west on foot along the Post Road. Within a few seconds of fleeing the bank the dye pack exploded and he is seen dropping the money onto the ground and fleeing the scene in the pictured vehicle, believed to be a Ford Fusion color red/maroon which traveled west on the Post Road.

The male had come into the bank two days prior (May 18, 2016) at approximately 12:20 pm and wanted to turn in some loose change which he carried in a plastic Dominos Sugar container. While speaking with a bank employee that day the male stated that he worked construction (under the table), had bad credit, six children for whom he was behind in their child support and declined to open an account for fear that the government would seize his money.
There is a reward being offered for information leading to the arrest of the individual and you may remain anonymous.
