WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO
NOON EST FRIDAY…

* LOCATIONS…SOUTHWEST CONNECTICUT AND NASSAU COUNTY ON WESTERN
LONG ISLAND.

* HAZARD TYPES…MODERATE SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES.

* ACCUMULATIONS…SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 4 TO 6 INCHES.

* WINDS…NORTH 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* VISIBILITIES…OCCASIONALLY AS LOW AS ONE HALF MILE.

* TEMPERATURES…FALLING TO THE LOWER 30S.

* TIMING…RAIN WILL MIX AND CHANGE TO SNOW AFTER MIDNIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING.

* IMPACTS…HAZARDOUS TRAVEL DUE TO SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES. THIS WILL IMPACT THE MORNING RUSH HOUR.
